Electromagnetic Lock for Glass Door
This electric lock operates on 12 volts DC. Can support a weight of, up to 600 lbs (280 kg). It is crafted from zinc alloy making it flame retardant and secure especially when used with security tempered glass doors. The lock is designed for single door applications. Can be easily mounted using a mortise. It is versatile. Can be used on glass doors, wooden doors, well as small sized doors. Constructed from aluminum the lock is resistant to magnetism, which contributes to its longevity.
With a holding force of 280 kg this embedded electromagnetic lock is ideal for access control systems. It consists of an electromagnet and an armature plate that work together to secure the door.
When the electromagnet is attached to the door frame and the armature plate is placed on the door itself activating the current causes the armature plate to be attracted by the electromagnet thus securing the door shut. In case of a power outage the door will automatically unlock. This electromagnetic lock is suitable for use, on types of doors including glass, metal and fire resistant ones.
